# TimeMachine! vs Time Together

The clearest difference is rating: Time Together at 5.0 against TimeMachine!'s 2.1. TimeMachine!'s advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeMachine! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Time Together sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Time Together holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TimeMachine! has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TimeMachine! ships an update weekly, Time Together every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
