# Sure vs AES Smart

Sure and AES Smart both sit at 3.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 40% of AES Smart's written reviews are positive against 0% of Sure's. AES Smart also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sure holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Sure's written reviews are positive against 40% of AES Smart's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sure ships an update every 6 weeks, AES Smart every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
