# NINJA Workspace vs Proton Drive

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NINJA Workspace at 100% against Proton Drive's 37%. NINJA Workspace also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Proton Drive's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 42). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NINJA Workspace sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Proton Drive sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NINJA Workspace holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Proton Drive has 1.2K ratings behind it against 42, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of NINJA Workspace's written reviews are positive against 37% of Proton Drive's.

NINJA Workspace ships an update monthly, Proton Drive fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
