# Skywall Pro vs FastCam

The clearest difference is price: FastCam at Free against Skywall Pro's $1.99. FastCam also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Skywall Pro's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 17) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

FastCam is free to download; Skywall Pro costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Skywall Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skywall Pro has 1.5K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Skywall Pro's written reviews are positive against 72% of FastCam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Skywall Pro ships an update every 2 months, FastCam every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
