# FargoRate vs BIS

The clearest difference is rating: BIS at 5.0 against FargoRate's 3.1. BIS also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). FargoRate's advantage is ratings volume (55 vs 4) and chart position (#159 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FargoRate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and BIS sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BIS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FargoRate has 55 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FargoRate ships an update monthly, BIS every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
