# EVOLUTION 3 vs IBEX Training

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: IBEX Training at none against EVOLUTION 3's 3. EVOLUTION 3's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EVOLUTION 3 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. IBEX Training asks for nothing beyond the download.

EVOLUTION 3 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EVOLUTION 3 has 244 ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of EVOLUTION 3's written reviews are positive against 82% of IBEX Training's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EVOLUTION 3 ships an update every 3 weeks, IBEX Training every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
