# ABTimers vs About Timers

The clearest difference is ads: ABTimers at none against About Timers's shown. ABTimers also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). About Timers's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 56 months) and ratings volume (57 vs 2). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ABTimers sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and About Timers sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for ABTimers against 4.5 for About Timers. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: About Timers has 57 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of ABTimers's written reviews are positive against 67% of About Timers's.

ABTimers ships an update every 56 months, About Timers fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
