# Meross vs TempPro Sensor

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TempPro Sensor at none against Meross's 8. Meross's advantage is review sentiment (77% vs 47%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Meross sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. TempPro Sensor asks for nothing beyond the download.

TempPro Sensor holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7.9K and 12K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Meross's written reviews are positive against 47% of TempPro Sensor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Meross ships an update every 2 weeks, TempPro Sensor every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
