# Export Audio vs MP3 Converter

The clearest difference is ratings volume: MP3 Converter at 48K against Export Audio's 315. MP3 Converter also leads on chart position (#123 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Export Audio sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year and MP3 Converter sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Export Audio against 4.7 for MP3 Converter. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MP3 Converter has 48K ratings behind it against 315, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 87% of Export Audio's written reviews are positive against 83% of MP3 Converter's.

Export Audio ships an update every 2 months, MP3 Converter every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
