# BIM 360 vs Facility Grid

The clearest difference is rating: Facility Grid at 3.4 against BIM 360's 1.8. Facility Grid also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium). BIM 360's advantage is ratings volume (148 vs 13). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Facility Grid holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BIM 360 has 148 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 5% of BIM 360's written reviews are positive against 0% of Facility Grid's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BIM 360 ships an update every 6 weeks, Facility Grid every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
