# In Your Note vs Standard Notes

The clearest difference is rating: Standard Notes at 4.7 against In Your Note's 4.2. Standard Notes also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (3.8K vs 12). In Your Note's advantage is review sentiment (91% vs 64%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. In Your Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Standard Notes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $119.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Standard Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Standard Notes has 3.8K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of In Your Note's written reviews are positive against 64% of Standard Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

In Your Note ships an update every 4 months, Standard Notes every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
