# LingoDeer vs Duspik

The clearest difference is monetization model: Duspik at free with in-app purchases against LingoDeer's subscription. Duspik also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). LingoDeer's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (28K vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LingoDeer sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Duspik sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Duspik holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LingoDeer has 28K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LingoDeer ships an update every 3 weeks, Duspik every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
