# Note Board vs WeDo

The clearest difference is ads: WeDo at none against Note Board's shown. WeDo also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note Board sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and WeDo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Note Board ships an update every 2 months, WeDo every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
