# Magneto vs Kometa.fit

Magneto and Kometa.fit both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 55% of Magneto's written reviews are positive against 43% of Kometa.fit's. Magneto also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kometa.fit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magneto has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Magneto's written reviews are positive against 43% of Kometa.fit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magneto ships an update every 3 months, Kometa.fit every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
