# BarnManager vs Pivo Connect

The clearest difference is rating: Pivo Connect at 5.0 against BarnManager's 3.5. Pivo Connect also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). BarnManager's advantage is ratings volume (25 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pivo Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BarnManager has 25 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BarnManager ships an update monthly, Pivo Connect fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
