# 小葵 vs Nihonisland

The clearest difference is update cadence: 小葵 at weekly against Nihonisland's every 3 months. 小葵 also leads on ratings volume (34 vs 1). Nihonisland's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 小葵 sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Nihonisland sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

小葵 ships an update weekly, Nihonisland every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
