# Hail State vs ScoreSource

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ScoreSource at 100% against Hail State's 38%. ScoreSource also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). Hail State's advantage is ratings volume (205 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ScoreSource holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hail State has 205 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 38% of Hail State's written reviews are positive against 100% of ScoreSource's.

Hail State ships an update every 2 months, ScoreSource weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
