# Noodle Camera vs ProofCam

Noodle Camera and ProofCam both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 89% of Noodle Camera's written reviews are positive against 14% of ProofCam's. Noodle Camera also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). ProofCam's advantage is ratings volume (87 vs 5). On price, rating, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ProofCam sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Noodle Camera asks for nothing beyond the download.

ProofCam holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProofCam has 87 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Noodle Camera's written reviews are positive against 14% of ProofCam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Noodle Camera ships an update every 5 days, ProofCam fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
