# Griddal vs TrueThings

The clearest difference is update cadence: TrueThings at every 5 days against Griddal's every 14 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Griddal sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and TrueThings sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Griddal ships an update every 14 months, TrueThings every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
