# Index.me vs PumedTrans

The clearest difference is rating: PumedTrans at 5.0 against Index.me's 2.6. PumedTrans also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Index.me's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PumedTrans holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Index.me has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
