# Wise Up Plus vs Fluency

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Wise Up Plus at none against Fluency's 3. Wise Up Plus also leads on ratings volume (79 vs 1). Fluency's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fluency sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Wise Up Plus asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fluency holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wise Up Plus has 79 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Wise Up Plus's written reviews are positive against 58% of Fluency's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wise Up Plus ships an update monthly, Fluency every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 12, 2026.
