# Pickleball+ vs Spikeball

The clearest difference is rating: Pickleball+ at 4.7 against Spikeball's 4.1. Pickleball+ also leads on ratings volume (3.1K vs 10). Spikeball's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pickleball+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Spikeball asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pickleball+ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pickleball+ has 3.1K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Pickleball+'s written reviews are positive against 75% of Spikeball's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pickleball+ ships an update every 3 weeks, Spikeball every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
