# AC vs Score

The clearest difference is ads: AC at none against Score's shown. AC also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Score's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 30 months) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for AC against 5.0 for Score. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Score has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

AC ships an update every 30 months, Score every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
