# Babylon FM vs Radiolive ·

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Babylon FM at none against Radiolive ·'s 7. Babylon FM also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 39%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). Radiolive ·'s advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (732 vs 23). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Radiolive · sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Babylon FM asks for nothing beyond the download.

Radiolive · holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Radiolive · has 732 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Babylon FM's written reviews are positive against 39% of Radiolive ·'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Babylon FM ships an update every 15 months, Radiolive · fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
