# ResourceMFG vs DQS Direct

The clearest difference is ratings volume: ResourceMFG at 2.5K against DQS Direct's 5. DQS Direct's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DQS Direct holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ResourceMFG has 2.5K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ResourceMFG ships an update every 2 months, DQS Direct every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
