# FieldNET vs b

The clearest difference is rating: b at 5.0 against FieldNET's 3.0. FieldNET's advantage is review sentiment (17% vs 0%) and ratings volume (50 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

b holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FieldNET has 50 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of FieldNET's written reviews are positive against 0% of b's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
