# Navy BMR vs AYFFOA

The clearest difference is rating: AYFFOA at 5.0 against Navy BMR's 4.5. Navy BMR's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Navy BMR sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per month and AYFFOA sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AYFFOA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Navy BMR has 1.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Navy BMR ships an update every 3 weeks, AYFFOA every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
