# TOR Browser vs HomeaZZon

The clearest difference is rating: HomeaZZon at 5.0 against TOR Browser's 4.5. HomeaZZon also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). TOR Browser's advantage is review sentiment (31% vs 0%) and ratings volume (13K vs 6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TOR Browser sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 7 days. HomeaZZon asks for nothing beyond the download.

HomeaZZon holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TOR Browser has 13K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of TOR Browser's written reviews are positive against 0% of HomeaZZon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TOR Browser ships an update every 3 weeks, HomeaZZon every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
