# Simple Training Timer vs FOSMET FIT

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Simple Training Timer at 70% against FOSMET FIT's 14%. Simple Training Timer also leads on ratings volume (63 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). FOSMET FIT's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Training Timer sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. FOSMET FIT asks for nothing beyond the download.

FOSMET FIT holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simple Training Timer has 63 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Simple Training Timer's written reviews are positive against 14% of FOSMET FIT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Simple Training Timer ships an update every 3 weeks, FOSMET FIT every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
