# Thermometer vs Thermometer

The clearest difference is rating: Thermometer at 5.0 against Thermometer's 3.7. Thermometer also leads on review sentiment (85% vs 49%). Thermometer's advantage is ratings volume (132 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thermometer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Thermometer sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Thermometer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thermometer has 132 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 49% of Thermometer's written reviews are positive against 85% of Thermometer's.

Thermometer ships an update monthly, Thermometer every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
