# Thermometer vs Thermometer

The clearest difference is rating: Thermometer at 3.7 against Thermometer's 2.3. Thermometer also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (132 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thermometer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Thermometer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Thermometer holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thermometer has 132 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of Thermometer's written reviews are positive against 50% of Thermometer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
