# CarKeeper＋ vs CloudDVR

The clearest difference is rating: CarKeeper＋ at 4.0 against CloudDVR's 2.6. CloudDVR's advantage is ratings volume (25 vs 1) and review sentiment (13% vs 0%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CarKeeper＋ holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CloudDVR has 25 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of CarKeeper＋'s written reviews are positive against 13% of CloudDVR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CarKeeper＋ ships an update every 6 weeks, CloudDVR monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
