# Limp Aquarium vs Jelly Evolution

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Limp Aquarium at 76% against Jelly Evolution's 20%. Limp Aquarium also leads on rating (4.7 vs 2.6) and ratings volume (1K vs 7). Jelly Evolution's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Limp Aquarium sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Jelly Evolution sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Limp Aquarium holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Limp Aquarium has 1K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 76% of Limp Aquarium's written reviews are positive against 20% of Jelly Evolution's.

Limp Aquarium ships an update every 6 weeks, Jelly Evolution every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
