# DataCamp vs EDX CAMPUS

The clearest difference is ads: EDX CAMPUS at none against DataCamp's shown. DataCamp's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DataCamp sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $35.00 per month and EDX CAMPUS sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DataCamp ships an update fortnightly, EDX CAMPUS every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
