# DataCamp vs Tech Passport

The clearest difference is ads: Tech Passport at none against DataCamp's shown. Tech Passport also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 72%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DataCamp sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $35.00 per month and Tech Passport sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DataCamp ships an update fortnightly, Tech Passport every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
