# DataCamp vs Techtalk

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Techtalk at none against DataCamp's 10. Techtalk also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). DataCamp's advantage is ratings volume (4.8K vs 1) and review sentiment (72% vs 50%). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DataCamp sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $35.00 per month. Techtalk asks for nothing beyond the download.

Techtalk holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DataCamp has 4.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of DataCamp's written reviews are positive against 50% of Techtalk's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DataCamp ships an update fortnightly, Techtalk every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
