# DataCamp vs Techtalk

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Techtalk at none against DataCamp's 10. Techtalk also leads on ads (none vs shown). DataCamp's advantage is ratings volume (4.8K vs 1) and review sentiment (72% vs 50%). On price, rating, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DataCamp sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $35.00 per month. Techtalk asks for nothing beyond the download.

Techtalk holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DataCamp has 4.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of DataCamp's written reviews are positive against 50% of Techtalk's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DataCamp ships an update fortnightly, Techtalk every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
