# DataCamp vs ASCP MB Exam Prep Practice

The clearest difference is ads: ASCP MB Exam Prep Practice at none against DataCamp's shown. DataCamp's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (4.8K vs 10). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DataCamp sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $35.00 per month and ASCP MB Exam Prep Practice sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for DataCamp against 4.7 for ASCP MB Exam Prep Practice. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DataCamp has 4.8K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DataCamp ships an update fortnightly, ASCP MB Exam Prep Practice every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
