# DataCamp vs Kodree

The clearest difference is ads: Kodree at none against DataCamp's shown. Kodree also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). DataCamp's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (4.8K vs 253). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DataCamp sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $35.00 per month and Kodree sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DataCamp holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DataCamp has 4.8K ratings behind it against 253, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of DataCamp's written reviews are positive against 57% of Kodree's.

DataCamp ships an update fortnightly, Kodree every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
