# DataCamp vs MasterJi

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MasterJi at none against DataCamp's 10. MasterJi also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). DataCamp's advantage is ratings volume (4.8K vs 1). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DataCamp sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $35.00 per month. MasterJi asks for nothing beyond the download.

MasterJi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DataCamp has 4.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DataCamp ships an update fortnightly, MasterJi weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
