# DataCamp vs QuantumNote

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: QuantumNote at none against DataCamp's 10. QuantumNote also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). DataCamp's advantage is ratings volume (4.8K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DataCamp sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $35.00 per month. QuantumNote asks for nothing beyond the download.

QuantumNote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DataCamp has 4.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DataCamp ships an update fortnightly, QuantumNote every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
