# DataCamp vs CompTIA Prep

The clearest difference is ads: CompTIA Prep at none against DataCamp's shown. DataCamp's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DataCamp sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $35.00 per month and CompTIA Prep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DataCamp ships an update fortnightly, CompTIA Prep monthly. Both last shipped on October 19, 2026.
