# Real Camera vs 0.3MP Camera

The clearest difference is rating: 0.3MP Camera at 4.8 against Real Camera's 3.0. 0.3MP Camera also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (9.4K vs 2). Real Camera's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Real Camera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 0.3MP Camera sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

0.3MP Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 0.3MP Camera has 9.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 73% of Real Camera's written reviews are positive against 80% of 0.3MP Camera's.

Real Camera ships an update every 5 days, 0.3MP Camera monthly. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
