# Retail Therapy vs Gaiabay

Retail Therapy and Gaiabay both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Gaiabay's written reviews are positive against 48% of Retail Therapy's. Gaiabay also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Retail Therapy's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gaiabay holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Retail Therapy has 2.2K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of Retail Therapy's written reviews are positive against 100% of Gaiabay's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
