# ShineDay vs Schedule

The clearest difference is price: ShineDay at Free against Schedule's $6.99. ShineDay also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (3.3K vs 13). Schedule's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

ShineDay is free to download; Schedule costs $6.99 up front. ShineDay sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 3 months and Schedule sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for ShineDay against 4.6 for Schedule. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ShineDay has 3.3K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ShineDay ships an update every 3 days, Schedule every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
