# AI View vs CloudEdge

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CloudEdge at 63% against AI View's 10%. CloudEdge also leads on rating (4.3 vs 1.7) and ratings volume (21K vs 51). AI View's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 21) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CloudEdge sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. AI View asks for nothing beyond the download.

CloudEdge holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CloudEdge has 21K ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 10% of AI View's written reviews are positive against 63% of CloudEdge's.

AI View ships an update every 4 weeks, CloudEdge every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
