# Spaces vs Pear Suite

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pear Suite at 100% against Spaces's 7%. Pear Suite also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.4) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Spaces's advantage is ratings volume (118 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pear Suite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spaces has 118 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 7% of Spaces's written reviews are positive against 100% of Pear Suite's.

Spaces ships an update fortnightly, Pear Suite every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
