# MyOptima vs iliad

The clearest difference is rating: MyOptima at 5.0 against iliad's 4.4. MyOptima also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). iliad's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (65 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyOptima holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iliad has 65 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 35% of MyOptima's written reviews are positive against 33% of iliad's.

MyOptima ships an update every 3 weeks, iliad fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
