# Pomodoro vs zeitweise LITE

The clearest difference is review sentiment: zeitweise LITE at 100% against Pomodoro's 50%. zeitweise LITE also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). Pomodoro's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and update cadence (monthly vs every 14 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pomodoro sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. zeitweise LITE asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pomodoro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pomodoro has 11K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Pomodoro's written reviews are positive against 100% of zeitweise LITE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pomodoro ships an update monthly, zeitweise LITE every 14 months. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
