# Pomodoro vs Focus Pet

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pomodoro at 50% against Focus Pet's 0%. Pomodoro also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 1). Focus Pet's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pomodoro sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Focus Pet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Pet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pomodoro has 11K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Pomodoro's written reviews are positive against 0% of Focus Pet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
